
Financial Crime Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Professional to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. This role will involve monitoring the financial crime and compliance programs of our entities in this region.
The successful candidate will work closely with various functional partners, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements. They will also contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide oversight and compliance advice to local, regional, and global teams.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Develop and perform annual AML/CTF risk assessments.
- Maintain oversight of regulatory compliance requirements.
Additional responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for regulators, investigating alerts, assessing high-risk clients, providing internal advisory, participating in group projects, and staying updated on industry trends.
Previous experience with AUSTRAC-registered institutions and AML/CTF compliance in Australia and New Zealand is required.
