Family Engagement Specialist Needed
Role DescriptionOur organization is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to provide outreach support services to children and young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with families through strengths-based intervention strategies, promoting positive relationships and family well-being.
The specialist will work in a culturally respectful manner with Aboriginal communities, leveraging their knowledge of cultural sensitivities and community needs. Experience in child development and family functioning theories, including attachment and intergenerational trauma, is highly valued.
Requirements- A tertiary qualification in a related field such as Community Service, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Full Victorian Driver's Licence and relevant clearance checks.
