Maximizing your skills in precision engineering and measurement science as a specialist technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of calibration and verification are consistently met.
This role is part of our team based in Perth, where we are proud to be a market leader in NATA certified calibration and verification services. Our reputation for delivering fast turnaround times, reliable and accurate calibrations, has earned us an outstanding position within the industry.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with trade qualifications and hands-on experience working with electrical instrumentation and test equipment. Previous experience in a NATA certified laboratory setting would be highly beneficial, but not essential. We are seeking someone who can deliver exceptional results while maintaining a safe working environment. If you possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technical innovation, then this could be the perfect fit for you.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills further through ongoing training and career progression. With an excellent base salary plus superannuation, you will be well-rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
You will primarily be involved in the following key responsibilities:
- Calibrate Force and Torque instrumentation and test equipment according to NATA verification guidelines
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty DC/LF, Optical, and Copper electrical devices
- Monitor and maintain efficient turn-around times for customer's equipment
- Conduct routine and scheduled service tasks, including repairs on customer devices and equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment
In order to succeed in this role, you must have:
- Trade qualifications with a strong hands-on knowledge of electrical instrumentation and test equipment
- Previous experience working in a NATA certified laboratory (an advantage)
- Experience completing service and calibration verification documentation
- Able to learn new technologies and technical concepts quickly
- Excellent communication skills
Our organization is committed to supporting your growth and development. We believe in fostering a positive work environment where our employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to our success.
Please note that this job description is subject to change and may evolve over time to meet the needs of our business.
At our organization, we strive to be at the forefront of technological advancements in our field. We aim to provide innovative solutions that meet the ever-changing demands of our customers.
