Cocoon Group Services is a dynamic and innovative organisation that prioritises exceptional participant experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Manager to join our team.

As a Community Engagement Manager, you will be the first point of contact for stakeholders, assist with transition planning, and engage with local community organisations to generate opportunities for people with disability.

About You

We are looking for a passionate leader who can drive growth and business development. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A sound understanding of the NDIS price guide and ability to complete schedule of support agreements and tenancy agreements.
  • Strong referral connections and local knowledge of the area.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills to build collaborative partnerships.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and demonstrate community engagement experience.
  • Well-developed stakeholder negotiation skills to deliver solutions that meet the needs of NDIS participants.
  • Two years' experience in a similar role within a human services environment.
  • An empathetic and positive approach to working with special people facing challenges.
  • The capacity to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, monitor workload, deadlines, and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for establishing, strengthening, and maintaining strong relationships with organisations that can connect us with people who need our services.

Mandatory Requirements

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain the following:

  • NDIS clearance check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation certificate.
  • Your own vehicle and an unrestricted driving licence.
  • NDIS Orientation Module.
