Procurement Strategy Lead

The role of Procurement Strategy Lead is pivotal in driving cost, schedule, and quality outcomes on major Energy and Utilities infrastructure projects.

This position partners closely with project leadership, suppliers, and subcontractors to develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, risk, compliance, and value-for-money principles.

  • Develop Sourcing Strategies:
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify procurement requirements and develop comprehensive sourcing strategies.
  • Execute strategic procurements for complex, high-value packages including long-lead and international supply.
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual obligations.

Key Requirements Include:

  • 7+ years' experience in capital project procurement within the energy, infrastructure or resources sector.
  • Proven success supporting bids and tenders and delivering procurement strategies in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian construction market and contract frameworks, with experience managing international supply.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management and influencing skills.
