Job Title: Senior Performing Arts Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate performing arts coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects, coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including budgets, contracts, logistics, and event safety.

This is a full-time position with a 2-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with artists, producers, and community presenters to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of performing arts tours and events
  • Work closely with artists, producers, and community presenters to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Support the executive programmer in various aspects of performing arts programming
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines and budget constraints
  • Experience in coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including budgets, contracts, logistics, and event safety
  • A sound understanding of the needs of artists and communities, with a demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with First Nations artists and communities
  • Experience with performing arts, touring, and venue operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a diverse range of stakeholders
