This position involves working closely with clients to understand their corporate tax needs and develop tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian corporate income tax, with experience gained in top-tier accounting firms or corporate business environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on corporate tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, restructures, and financing arrangements.
  • Delivering taxation services for allocated books of corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
  • Collaborating with specialist teams to bring expertise to corporate clients and provide comprehensive support.
  • Supervising junior team members and fostering a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct recommendations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients and collaborating with internal teams.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business environment.
