We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Tax team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax advisory, with expertise in corporate tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax.
The role involves providing high-level tax advice to clients across various industries, including financial services, healthcare, and technology. The candidate will work closely with senior managers and partners to deliver complex tax projects and ensure timely completion of client assignments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tax advice to clients on corporate tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and group reorganizations.
- Developing and implementing tax strategies for clients, including transfer pricing, dividend stripping, and debt/equity swaps.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns, as well as other tax documentation for clients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, along with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex tax issues.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tax advisory, preferably in a Big 4 firm or similar organization.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax law and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
