Medical Practitioner - Remote Healthcare Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Practitioner to join our innovative Telehealth team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for connecting with patients through convenient over-the-phone consultations, performing thorough assessments, and crafting tailored treatment plans.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care. You will be working with a diverse range of patients, providing empathetic and informative care, and addressing their concerns and questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with patient needs and medical guidelines
  • Provide patient-centered care, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia
  • AHPRA registration and ability to prescribe Schedule 8 medication
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
  • Proven ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
