Job Role:

The position of Sterilisation Technician Grade 3 involves providing professional services in the Central Sterilization Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing and circulating Reusable Medical Devices within the hospital environment.
  • Performing tasks similar to those of a Sterilization Technician Grade 2 and assisting in departmental functions.
  • Supporting and guiding staff in daily work routines.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Sterilisation Technology is essential.
  • Prioritising work according to established routines and procedures with high accountability or discretion.
  • Working independently under limited supervision either individually or in small teams.
  • Effective communication skills and motivation to meet deadlines and maintain standards.
  • Multitasking with well-developed organisational skills and knowledge of National and International Standards for Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices.
