About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our Senior Ipswich Campus team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the educational and wellbeing needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver academic and wellbeing programs to students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the delivery of vocational training programs, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational and wellbeing objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers to plan, write, and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise learning for each student.
  • Assess and provide meaningful feedback and reports on student learning, supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Support students with complex backgrounds and different learning abilities, making a positive impact on their educational journey.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant University degree and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
  • Experience in Maths and Science Essential Subjects, with a preference for Year 11 and 12 experience.
  • Apply knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs, meeting the diverse needs of students at risk of disengagement.
  • Effectively communicate with students, using interpersonal skills and behaviour management strategies to establish a supportive learning environment.
