Environmental Conservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ecologist to join our team in NSW.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ecological assessment and management on various development projects, including flora surveys, vegetation mapping, biodiversity monitoring, habitat monitoring, threatened species monitoring, management plans and impact assessments.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of New South Wales and Australian legislation and its application to environmental and ecological reporting. They will also need to have high level plant identification skills, at least 2 years of relevant industry experience, and the ability to use GIS to collect, analyse, interpret and communicate ecological data.

Additionally, the successful applicant will require a recognised tertiary qualification in Botany/Ecology and the ability to prepare high-quality consulting reports, including for environmental assessments, monitoring, and management.
