Vision Screener
","Description:","We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Vision Screener to join our team. As a Vision Screener, you will be responsible for providing vision screening services to preschool children throughout the Southeastern Sydney Local Health District.
","Key Responsibilities:","- Conducting vision screening in preschool and child care facilities throughout South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD).
- Direct hands-on experience working or supervising 3-6 year old children.
- Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work both in a team and individually with limited supervision.
- Ability and knowledge in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate with parents who may be distressed in a professional manner.
- Good computer skills including the use of excel and the willingness to learn new IT systems and programs as per the needs of the program.
- Full NSW Driver's licence with own transport.
To be eligible for this role, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
