Job Title: Senior Knowledge Lawyer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced knowledge lawyer to provide expert support to our national Banking & Financial Services practice.
  • The successful candidate will assist in designing and delivering training sessions on financial services reforms, compliance, and risk management.
  • This role involves facilitating the development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements to enhance our client service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and maintain high-quality legal documents and precedents.
  • Ensure style guide compliance across all team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms.
  • Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative and case law changes affecting the Banking & Finance practice group and provide regular updates.
  • Deliver engaging legal educational training to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide style, precedents, and writing training to firm-wide staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of post-admission experience.
  • Recent banking or financial services drafting experience is essential.
  • Exceptional document drafting skills and attention to detail are required.
  • The ability to project manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
