Leading Fleet Operations Specialist

  • Oversee daily workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow and achieve performance objectives.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate repair jobs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Lead and mentor workshop technicians with ongoing training, support, and high-quality output.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance, including spare parts inventory management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors for spare parts & order management.
  • Work with compliance to set reporting programs that assist with COR and compliance activity.
  • Implement and uphold safety standards, conducting regular risk assessments and incident reporting.

Maintain accurate work order records and reporting for audits and compliance purposes.

About the Role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in MHE fleet maintenance, workshop management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or advisor is essential.
  • Trade qualification in heavy mechanical maintenance (is a must).
  • Strong expertise in maintenance planning, cost control, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a positive, hands-on approach.
