Marketing Director (relocate to Adelaide) at Fleet Space Technologies. This role must be based in Adelaide with hybrid working at our brand new HQ next to Adelaide airport. We are open to relocation from other Australian states.
What you will do- Lead a world-class marketing team and scale a high-performing marketing function with clear accountability for driving measurable business impact across the customer acquisition funnel.
- Architect comprehensive go-to-market strategies for AI-powered, satellite-enabled solutions, aligning cross-functional teams around customer value and business outcomes.
- Oversee campaign execution across marketing verticals (Field Marketing, Digital, ABM) and partner with Sales, Product, and Executives to prioritize strategic accounts and accelerate pipeline growth with global enterprise prospects.
- Lead performance measurement by developing and reporting key metrics such as marketing pipeline contribution, lead acquisition and engagement, brand awareness in key markets, ABM performance, and team productivity.
- Develop and report on metrics including marketing contribution to pipeline growth, lead acquisition and engagement scores, brand awareness in key markets, ABM performance, and team productivity across all marketing functions.
Lead the strategic direction of Fleet Space's global marketing function, focusing on scaling operations, driving demand generation, and delivering tangible business impact. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Executive teams to prioritize strategic accounts and execute data-driven experimentation to optimize performance.
What you will report toYou will report directly to Matt Pearson, our Interim CMO, and lead a team of 6 marketers across Product Marketing, Growth, Communications, Brand, and Field Marketing.
What we are looking for- Proven Enterprise B2B Marketing Leadership: 8+ years leading marketing in startup/scale-up tech companies with demonstrated success in Mineral exploration, Mining Technology, or Deep Tech industries.
- Team & Budget Management Experience: Track record managing marketing budgets of $2M+ annually and scaling marketing teams of 8+ people.
- Revenue-Focused Partnership: Exceptional ability to collaborate with sales teams, with concrete examples of marketing initiatives that directly contributed to deal closure and revenue growth.
- Field Marketing experience: Experience with field/event marketing or a related component as part of your toolkit.
You will need to demonstrate strategic vision and execution capabilities—architecting go-to-market strategies that align with business objectives while being able to articulate long-term pipeline impact.
We're looking for someone obsessed with data-driven decision making who can explain why leading indicators matter more than vanity metrics and translate complex performance data into clear business impact for executive leadership.
