Food Service Professional

As a Catering Attendant, you will be an integral member of our team, working across various areas to prepare all elements required to deliver a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard our airline customer flights.
About the Role:- You may perform a variety of roles across our kitchens, assembly and stores areas.
- Coordinate a safe, sanitized and hygienic environment for receiving, storage and work in progress areas.
- Responsible for sanitation of work areas within Stores, including cleaning, wiping down and presentation of equipment, benches, storage racks, fridges and freezer compartments.
- Handle fresh food and ingredients in bulk (such as fruits, vegetables, proteins) moving them through sanitation stations, ensuring visual and handling checks match presentation specifications.
- Assist Chefs to ensure items are carefully unpacked and handled with care, avoiding bruising, splitting or spoiling of produce.
- Comply with Food Safety and HACCP guidelines, and adhere to strict hygiene standards and cleaning schedules, including accurate recording of cleaning times.
- Attention to detail and sharp focus on accurate record keeping.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to take directions in English.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items safely.
- Availability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
