Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Media and External Communications Specialist to join our team at Appoint Pty Ltd. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the public profile of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Relations:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts to enhance our company's visibility and reputation.
  • Proactively seek media opportunities to showcase our company's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Draft press releases, statements, and other media materials to effectively communicate our key messages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure our company's reputation is protected.

External Communications:

  • Develop and implement external communications strategies to support our company's objectives and goals.
  • Craft compelling narratives and content for external audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and the general public.
  • Manage our company's presence across various platforms, including social media, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and external communications to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a writing, PR, or journalism role, with a strong understanding of the legal industry.
  • Legal media experience is highly desirable.
