About the RoleThis opportunity exists for an experienced National Health and Safety Manager based in Sydney or Melbourne. As a National Health and Safety Manager, you will work closely with our Senior Leaders to support delivery of agreed Health and Safety Strategic Goals and the effective implementation of health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain compliance with Australian legal requirements and ensure ISO45001 certification.
- Partner with our Health and Safety Advisor to oversee the accuracy and effective use of our Oceania health and safety database.
- Analyse health and safety data and findings to carry out trend analysis and prepare performance reports.
- Support and coach managers to understand our Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and its application in practice.
- Identify, develop, and deliver health and safety training materials and programs to strengthen understanding across all levels of the business.
- Facilitate employee engagement and consultation forums, encouraging participation and feedback.
- Support the development and implementation of a structured annual health and safety assurance program.
