Cyber Security Analyst

CyberCX is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Security Analyst to join our team. As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client outcomes and contributing to the growth of our cyber security practice.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of alerts and data from security products, including SIEMs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, web proxies, and network security devices.
- Incident Response: Respond to incidents, liaise with customers and their ICT operations staff, and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Vulnerability Analysis: Analyze vulnerabilities, triage, and advise on remediation activities to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' systems.
- Security Operations: Perform a wide range of security operations tasks as needed, including monitoring, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience: Ideally 2+ years' experience in Security Operations or an ICT technical team, or equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Technical Skills: A general technical understanding of contemporary ICT technologies, including system administration, network administration, and software development.
- Analytical Skills: Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
