Cyber Security Operations Specialist

CyberCX is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Security Analyst to join our innovative Security Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client outcomes and contributing to the growth and development of our cyber security professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct technical analysis of security alerts and data from various security products, including SIEMs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Participate in incident response activities, including liaising with customers and their ICT operations staff.
- Perform vulnerability analysis, including triaging vulnerabilities and advising on associated remediation activities.
- Assist with a wide range of security operations tasks as needed.
- 2+ years' experience in Security Operations or an ICT technical team, or equivalent knowledge.
- General technical understanding of contemporary ICT technologies, achieved through real-world experience.
- Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about growth and learning, with a commitment to continuous skill development.
- Programming or scripting experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Academic background in CS or IT is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to participate in a rotation schedule and perform shift work.
