Healthcare Support Professional with Cleaning and Customer Service Expertise

Austin Health, a major provider of tertiary health services in Melbourne, is seeking a Patient Services Assistant to work on the Repatriation Campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high cleaning standard in the ward environment, providing meals and refreshments with excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals.

As a Healthcare Support Professional, you will enjoy our continuing education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees. You'll join a friendly and supportive team who genuinely enjoy their work and the contribution they make.

The role involves a wide range of tasks, including food service delivery, patient movement, and other general duties as per the Position Description. We will provide a comprehensive onboarding process and orientation to the role, supported by our PSA and nursing team.

In this regular day-to-day work, you'll:

  • Work collaboratively with our team of PSA staff and nurses.
  • Maintain our ward environment to a high cleaning standard.
  • Provide meals and refreshments with excellent customer service.
