**Job Summary:**
A professional seeking a challenging opportunity to deliver high-quality person-centered nursing care and promote safe, efficient, and effective nursing practices.
- This role involves providing case management of patients with poly-substance use dependence that access opiate agonist treatment (OAT).
- The successful candidate will provide assessment and management of substance use disorders and withdrawal states, adhering to the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses and relevant policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To practice and promote safe, efficient, and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and policies.
- To manage patients with complex needs, including those with poly-substance use dependence accessing OAT.
- To utilize principles of Trauma-Informed Care in delivering high-quality patient care.
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and managing substance use disorders and withdrawal states.
- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Solid understanding of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses and relevant policies.
