Nursing Professional – Patient Care Specialist
DescriptionThe role of the Enrolled Nurse is to provide comprehensive patient care, practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing practices.
This includes participating in a dynamic medical ward team specializing in comprehensive patient care, with opportunities to work in a variety of specialized areas.
As a key member of the healthcare team, the Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring patients receive evidence-based practice and best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Dementia and Delirium Management: Provide expert care to patients with dementia and delirium, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is prioritized.
- Violence Prevention Training: Implement strategies to prevent violence and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Peritoneal Dialysis and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy: Administer peritoneal dialysis and negative pressure wound therapy, ensuring accurate treatment and optimal patient outcomes.
- Palliative Care: Provide compassionate care to patients requiring palliative care, focusing on symptom management and end-of-life support.
- Central Line Care: Maintain central lines, preventing complications and ensuring patient safety.
- Cannulation and Venepuncture: Perform cannulations and venepunctures, adhering to infection control guidelines and minimizing risks.
- Advanced Skills in Care Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating patient care across multiple services.
