- This position offers an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering primary healthcare services and collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
As a registered nurse, you will conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop patient care plans, and provide treatment and education to patients. You will also manage acute and chronic physical health conditions, administer medications and treatments, and respond to medical emergencies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing and current AHPRA registration;
- At least 23 years' post-graduate experience in acute or primary healthcare within the last five years;
- Background in Primary Health, Rural or Emergency Nursing;
- Current certification in CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid;
- Experience using electronic health record systems;
- Advanced Life Support certification;
- Recognition as a Nurse Immuniser (NSW); and
- Skills in phlebotomy, cannulation, suturing, and application of back slabs.
