Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead our IT System Administration team. This strategic role involves planning, monitoring and reporting on the organisation's IT system.

Duties

  • Analyse risks and information needs to determine relevant technology solutions.
  • Design and implement ICT procedures, policies and practices for the company.
  • Monitor the selection and installation of ICT resources and networks, including LAN, WAN and network segmentation.
  • Provide user training and coaching to employees.
  • Direct ICT operations, setting priorities between system development, maintenance and operations.
  • Oversee security of ICT systems, establish backup resources and contingency plans.
  • Conduct system audits, evaluate outcomes and resolve conflicts during project implementation.
  • Administer day-to-day operational activities of the ICT Department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT or a relevant field plus two years post-qualification experience; or at least five years of relevant experience.

Skills

  • Previous experience in determining ICT system security and managing ICT operations.
  • Strong understanding of technology requirements and trends to meet future growth plans.
  • Extensive experience in developing ICT plans, methodologies and strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
