Dietitian - New Graduate Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a recently graduated dietitian who wants to make a difference. As a Grade 1 New Graduate Dietitian, you will rotate between Eastern Health bed-based sites for 9-month rotations, gaining diverse clinical experience and developing your skills in general medicine, stroke, neurology, GEM, and general surgical areas.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to quality and research projects, and be part of clinical leadership groups in your designated area. Additionally, you will participate in a structured multi-disciplinary 'Transition to Practice' program, which supports graduates to transition to working in the public hospital system.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Eligible for membership with Dietitians Australia (DA) and APD program/provisional membership
- Demonstrates knowledge of clinical theory and practice
- Demonstrates clear understanding of client-centred care
- Has effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrates capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrates time management capabilities and experience in managing a caseload
- Demonstrates professional codes of conduct
- Basic computer skills
