Auslan Interpreter Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Auslan interpreter to join our team at Box Hill Institute. As an Auslan interpreter, you will play a vital role in supporting students who use Auslan as their primary language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and professional interpreting services to students in the classroom and other settings.
- Work collaboratively with Disability Liaison staff, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and other stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum NAATI Certified Provisional or Certified Interpreter level.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting between Auslan and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
