About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Analyst to join our team in the Integration Management Office (IMO) at the University of South Australia. As a Process Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting thorough analysis of business processes and systems to optimize operations and ensure compliance within the new Adelaide University.

Working as part of the Student Experience and Administration Domain (SE&A), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and propose data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. You will be involved in the transition of staff and students, a significant project in the IMO, and support the work of SME Leads and Project Managers within the Student Experience & Administration domain and related areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and provide advice on data integrity issues across the range of system functions.
  • Process Engineering: Develop and streamline student systems and processes. Critically examine existing operations to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Systems Testing: Ensure software and interface releases and upgrades are tested and implemented efficiently and changes clearly communicated to end users.
  • Communication: Liaise, discuss, and negotiate effectively with staff across both universities and other relevant stakeholders in regard to student system developments and overall process improvements.
  • End-User Support: Undertake business process and training needs analysis, develop and review business process and training materials, deliver end-user training, and provide end-user support.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • High level of organisational and administrative skills, preferably with experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information systems using a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system-related problems.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including experience in developing and providing training.
