Job Description

Experienced workforce planners are sought to drive strategic workforce initiatives in a large government department. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development of nationally significant workforce strategies, influencing key decisions and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify capability gaps and resourcing risks within the workforce
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans for permanent and contracted staff
  • Establish and maintain capability matrices and workforce allocation schedules
  • Deliver high-quality executive reporting packs and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Provide actionable insights to inform workforce prioritisation and strategic decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in workforce optimisation, planning, and organisational strategy is essential. Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and ICT workforce mapping is also required. Strong business acumen and ability to align workforce programs with organisational priorities are critical for success.
