Job Title: Skilled Healthcare Professional

About the Role:
  • To contribute to the implementation of effective clinical governance systems for safe and quality resident-centered care.
  • Coordinate the completion of clinical care tasks and related clinical documentation.
  • Monitor resident files, progress notes, lists, and observation charts.
  • Manage specialised nursing care needs including patches, injections, wound care, catheter care, diabetic care, and dangerous drugs.
  • Coordinate and liaise with residents, their representatives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the provision of the best possible care.
  • Ensure compliance with medication management policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement evidence-based processes for defining infections and reinforce antimicrobial stewardship programs.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance teams.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff to provide person-centred care.
About You:
  • Current registration with the relevant health practitioner regulatory agency.
  • Minimum two years' experience in residential aged care.
  • Current NDIS workers screening check.
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations (highly recommended).
  • Experience in re-accreditation processes and related assessment visits through the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
