About the Role

As a Senior Social Worker with The Way Back Support Service, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychosocial support to individuals experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide. You will lead a dedicated team, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored interventions that empower consumers to manage their distress and enhance their mental wellbeing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify consumer needs and develop individualized plans
  • Liaise with community and clinical services to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based practices and promote continuous improvement within the service
