Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily service and repairs to our light and heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and reliability standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned mechanic to work on a variety of equipment, including Sandvik drill rigs. If you have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment, and possess a recognised Trade Certificate, we would like to hear from you.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience working on Sandvik Drill rigs (ideal)
  • Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
  • Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
  • Maintaining maintenance data on a daily basis
  • Sound planning and organisational skills
