Maintenance Technician

As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks including maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned areas.
Main Responsibilities:- Regularly inspect assigned areas to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs as necessary to ensure facilities are functioning efficiently
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures to prevent issues from arising
- Repair various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc. to maintain a safe and functional environment
- Communicate any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective action as appropriate to ensure optimal facility performance
- Maintain adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management
This role may require physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Additionally, uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
RequirementsTo succeed in this position, you will need:
- Prior maintenance experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks associated with the role
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
