Senior Cloud Architect Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to help global customers and partners innovate and transform on Amazon Web Services.

This role will involve collaborating with AWS field business development, marketing, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon RDS databases, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), etc.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise: Collaborate with AWS teams to educate partners and customers on AWS services.
  • Solutions: Design, deliver, and provide thought leadership on-site technical engagements with partners and customers.
  • Delivery: Engage in on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
  • Insights: Convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps.

The successful candidate will possess 7+ years of technical specialist experience, 5+ years of database experience, and 7+ years of consulting and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS include 7+ years of technical specialist design and architecture experience, 5+ years of database experience, 7+ years of consulting and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience, 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience, and 3+ years of cloud-based solution system network operating system experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • AWS Professional level certification.
  • An Asian language including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, or Bahasa.
