Cloud Architect Expert - Delivering Transformational Solutions

A leading Australian organisation is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to drive cloud transformation and deliver cutting-edge solutions utilising Microsoft Azure technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end cloud solutions, providing strategic consulting to clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure cloud architectures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud solution architectures
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on cloud adoption, migration, and optimisation initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams to develop cloud roadmaps and deliver compelling presentations
  • Mentor and guide consultants and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in architecting and delivering cloud solutions with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, security, and governance
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective cloud architectures
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines with strong understanding of DevOps concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
