Security Operations Manager

The Security Services Team Leader oversees a team of Security Officers, ensuring adherence to operational documentation and the security services delivery model. They also ensure compliance with procedures as per service specifications, support administrative functions, including rostering and payroll, and serve as the primary contact for internal staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising, mentoring, and leading Security Officers within their teams
- Compliance with contractual requirements, monitoring, and allocating resources to ensure timely completion of requests in line with Service Specification priorities
- Maintaining and providing required compliance reporting documentation to support operations and keeping supervisors/line managers informed
- Administrative tasks relating to rostering, time and attendance, payroll, budgeting, leave to ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreement
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A current SA Security License with necessary endorsements
- Proven experience as a Security Officer within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with team members, staff, hospital employees, and the broader community
- A thorough theoretical and practical knowledge of current aggression management and de-escalation techniques and standards
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office systems and Security Management Systems
- Experience in resource allocation to ensure fulfillment of dedicated, scheduled, and unscheduled tasks within established timeframes
- Proficient time-management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and deliver on required scope and services
