Our Protected Vehicles business is seeking an Inventory Analyst to strengthen our inventory management methodology. The successful candidate will develop forecasts to predict inventory usage, ensuring our contractual obligations are met.

This role has become available due to internal promotion, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have industry qualifications or training in inventory management, experience in spares provisioning and obsolescence, and proficiency in statistical modeling using Excel. Exposure to large ERP systems such as SAP is also highly regarded.

As an Inventory Analyst, you'll work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to achieve key objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining inventory models, forecasting throughput, suggesting safety stock levels, and managing obsolescence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing and maintaining inventory models
  • Forecasting throughput and predicting sparing requirements
  • Suggesting safety stock levels at PRV sites
  • Modeling upcoming projects and platforms
  • Updating forecasted usage for contract negotiation with suppliers
  • Managing obsolescence within the business

**Requirements:**

  • Industry qualification or training
  • Inventory management or analyst experience
  • Spares provisioning and/or obsolescence
  • Statistical or other inventory modeling - preferably in Excel
  • Exposure to large ERP systems such as SAP
