Key requirements include:
A Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy is essential.
Experience in developing leisure programs, including working with dementia clients.
Ability to work on a casual basis and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and residents.
Understanding of aged care principles and resident rights is crucial.
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required.
