Job Details

The Senior Coordinator Right to Information is a leadership role that provides technical guidance to staff, ensuring sound and compliant decision making under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  •   Provide leadership and technical guidance to staff on applying the GIPA Act and promoting open government.
  •   Manage complex requests for information and lead best practice delivery of services.
  •   Develop and maintain processes and procedures, and deliver training programs across NSW.

About This Role:

  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong understanding of the GIPA Act or similar legislation is essential.
  • Experience in inspiring, motivating, guiding, and supporting direct reports is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, including the ability to write decisions based on legislation.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders is essential.
