Music Program Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Program Leader to join our school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate musician to lead our music program and provide exceptional musical support and leadership to students.

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality music programs with a focus on student development and achievement.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents.
  • A strong passion for music education and a commitment to providing opportunities for students to develop their musical talents.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of music theory, repertoire and ensemble accompaniment, with experience in coordinating all keyboard staff, students and resources.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality of musical performance and presentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing valuable insights and innovations to the music program.

The successful applicant will have a high level of competence on their instrument, excellent proficiency in keyboard instruments, including piano and digital keyboards, and current registration or a current Working with Children Check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver music programs that meet the needs of students and teachers.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Recruit, train and manage music staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Plan and deliver concerts and performances that showcase student talent.
  • Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
