We are seeking a skilled Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks, trailers, and attachments for scheduled and reactive maintenance.

This is a dynamic role that involves park maintenance activities including landscaping, waste removal, and asset care.

You will deliver excellent customer service when interacting with the public in our parks and open spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate various equipment and vehicles as required.
  • Maintain high standards of Work Health & Safety in all tasks.
  • Work across multiple locations within the Wollongong LGA.

In this role, you will work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You must be physically capable of performing manual outdoor work in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and commitment to Work Health & Safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A current MR Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience operating trucks, trailers, and a range of attachments.
  • Experience in parks and open space maintenance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and schedules.
