Position Overview:
This esteemed and innovative Educational Services Provider is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Finance Officer to enhance their finance department on a permanent part-time basis. You will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, managing Payroll, and supporting month-end activities. This role offers a convenient location with easy access to public transport and onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
  • Process invoices through matching, batching, and coding
  • Handle billing, receipting, and allocation of invoices
  • Conduct end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 70 employees
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Oversee FBT, Workcover, and BAS reconciliations
  • Prepare annual financial statements
  • Assist in audit preparations
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating proficiency in the outlined responsibilities
  • A keen attention to detail, excellent time management abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines
