About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Bayside, QLD. As an educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of primary-aged children by providing guidance, support, and promoting their emotional, social, and educational development.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise and support a group of primary-aged children during before and after-school care sessions.
- Engage in fun, safe, and compliant programs that promote learning and enriching experiences.
- Prepare and serve healthy food options that cater to diverse dietary needs.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school community.
- Completed or studying a childcare-related qualification within 6 months.
- Holding a valid Blue Card (Working With Children Check) or willing to obtain.
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain).
- Availability on weekdays and/or school holidays.
- $1000 one-off sign-on bonus (paid at successful completion of the probation period).
- Paid above award hourly rates.
- No weekend work.
- Split shift allowances paid for Before School Care & After School Care or team meetings.
- Career growth and development via internal promotion and study pathway options.
- Access to subsidised Diploma qualifications for eligible staff.
- Onboarding and continuing professional training and development paid.
- Support from Learning Specialists and the leadership team.
$40-$60 per hour (dependent on experience), estimated annual salary range $80,000-$120,000 (based on 38-hour workweek).
