Job Title: Home Care Supervisor

The role involves overseeing the daily operations of residential houses, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.

  • Work closely with a team to provide support to young people with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement service delivery plans that drive positive outcomes for clients.
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure they are equipped to handle crisis incidents and provide high-quality care.
  • Coordinate the intake and transition of new clients into the home and their exit to permanent homes or step-down services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar.
  • Experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and disadvantage.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, including experience in co-ordinating and managing 24-hour residential services.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with external stakeholders.
