Lecturer in Statistical Data Science

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Computational Statistics. The successful candidate will provide strategic capacity in both research and teaching within the School.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in computational statistics, particularly in new Monte Carlo methods and their associated theory. They will have an ability and strong interest in providing high-quality statistics and data science learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and teach statistics and data science courses
- Conduct research in computational statistics and its applications
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessment strategies
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
A doctoral degree in a relevant field
Expertise in computational statistics and its applications
Excellent teaching and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
