Quantitative Economics and Business Statistics Academic Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in quantitative economics or a related field, with expertise in advanced quantitative methods, including econometric modeling, statistical inference, data science, and machine learning.

They will have experience designing curriculum that makes quantitative content accessible and engaging, and a track record of innovation in teaching large undergraduate subjects using inclusive, digitally enhanced approaches.

Additionally, they will be proficient in statistical and analytical tools such as Python, R, Stata, or SAS, and experienced in cloud-based platforms and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

As a collaborative and inclusive leader, they will contribute to a high-performing academic team and foster an environment that empowers the next generation of business students with the analytical and digital skills needed to thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging courses that support student success and contribute to a culture of teaching excellence;
  • Publish in top-tier journals and secure funding to advance knowledge and real-world outcomes;
  • Support school development, including maintaining AACSB accreditation and shaping future directions;
  • Build strong industry and community partnerships that enhance learning and create meaningful impact;
  • Supervise HDR students and contribute to a strong research culture that tackles pressing challenges.

Requirements:

  • PhD in quantitative economics or a related field;
