Statistical Research Opportunity

The School of Mathematical Sciences at QUT is seeking a researcher with expertise in computational statistics, particularly in new Monte Carlo methods and their associated theory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic capacity in research and teaching within the School.
  • Develop new statistical methods and contribute to the advancement of statistical data science.
  • Design and deliver high-quality statistics and data science learning experiences for students.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in computational statistics, especially in new Monte Carlo methods and their associated theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and teach courses on statistical data science.
  • Strong interest in providing learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
