Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst Role

A highly skilled professional is sought to lead the cyber security function within our organisation. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our overall cyber security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level technical direction and support to maintain adequate protection of ICT systems, services, hardware & infrastructure, software applications, and information assets.
• Lead incident response and management, including triage and investigation of operational alerts from the Security Operations Centre monitoring service.
• Conduct threat and risk assessments, vulnerability scans, access audits and penetration tests on new and existing infrastructure, providing guidance on mitigation strategies and solutions to reduce security risks.
• Develop and implement the organisation's cybersecurity framework, including policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Create, deliver, and coordinate security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of security within the organisation.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers, 3rd parties, project teams and other technical experts for seamless and secure functionality of networks and infrastructure capability.

Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of QLD Government IS18 policy, ASD Essential 8, NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Effective working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, physical networks, endpoint management and web application technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
