Highway Maintenance Technician

In this role, you'll:

- Perform maintenance tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Undertake activities which may include, but not limited to, pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance, road pavement rehabilitation, and small and heavy patching works.
- Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Supervisors to manage day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
- Travel extensively throughout the region, be flexible to work outside of normal working hours and attend call outs when required.
- Keep up to date with legislation and policies related to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards

About you
You are a worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.

You must hold the following:

- A current driver's licence
